Scottish Corporate Voiceover Artist.

The Scottish accent is often said to be the most trustworthy and reassuring regional accents in the UK and beyond.

Perhaps this is why a lot of my daily voiceover work is corporate narration. Clients want their message delivered in the most authentic way, with a voice that actually speaks to their listeners, rather than lectures them.

I’ve recorded e-learning voiceovers, explainer voiceovers, internal messaging, presentations, educational content and corporate narration for the past fourteen years, for brands such as SSE, WWF, Deliveroo, BBC and Lloyds Banking Group.

I usually work in two ways:

  1. The ‘hands-off’ self-record corporate voiceover approach: you provide me with the signed off script and direction over email. If you have a specific timing you’d like me to read to, or a storyboard or visuals, it’s a great time to share those too. Then, I get to work recording two full takes. I deliver the files, with any large breaths removed, via a secure downloadable link within 24 hours. If you have any feedback, we go from there.

  2. The ‘hands-on’ direction approach: We book in a live session. These sessions are usually an hour, unless it’s a particularly long script and are usually from my complimentary broadcast-ready home studio. Although, I’m always open to travelling to any Glasgow or Edinburgh studios for an in-person session, if that’s your preference. The live session allows you to direct me in real time, so we can play around with tones, pacing etc. After the session, I’ll de-breath the selected reads and send over all of the audio recorded via a downloadable link.

A couple of things to keep in mind – I include tonal revisions in my costing, and small script changes (a sentence or two), but any larger script changes may be subject to an extra cost.
